GEL MANICURE/PEDICURE

Relative to your lifestyle the product will need fortnightly or three weekly maintenance as there will be obvious growth. At this point I can either re-Geleration your nails (removing existing product & re-applying a fresh colour) or I can remove it completely with a mini manicure to ensure nails are not damaged & are perfectly groomed. PN gel nails that are damaged or peeling more than a week after application will not be re done. If the aftercare is followed then the gels should last between 1-3 weeks depending on nail types, lifestyle and personal maintenance.

Dos (click to reveal)

  • You should not need to file your nails in between appointments and it is not recommended. However, if you do damage a nail and you need to file any sharp edges down, I recommend using a soft file and gently smoothing any edges to prevent too much damage to the product.
  • Do wear cotton-lined gloves when using household chemicals, gardening, or hands are in water for prolonged periods.
  • If you are on holiday please use sun tan oils/lotions or insect repellent with care as many contain solvent oils which cause major damage to the product.
  • Some of the more delicate product colours can fade somewhat if in chlorinate water followed by excessive sun exposure. Dry hands and nails after swimming & before sunbathing to minimize colour fade.
  • Use a good nail oil as often as you can especially before bed to replace lost moisture to your skin and nails. Massage the oil around the cuticles and under the nails.
  • If you choose to change the colour of your nails between appointments you can use nail polish over the product, but be sure to remove with Acetone Free Remover.

  • If you do happen to damage a nail DO NOT pick or pull at the product!
